One of the
tracks on the Backstreet Boys new Jive album Black & Blue (due November
21) is titled "How Did I Fall In Love (With You)?," LAUNCH has learned.
The ballad was co-written by group member Howie Dorough and New Jersey-based
songwriter Andrew Fromm when the duo met up for writing sessions in London
earlier this year. Fromm penned two tracks -- "Spanish Eyes" and "I Need
You Tonight" -- on the Backstreet Boys' multiplatinum Millennium album,
and he is currently writing songs for LFO's upcoming album. "How Did I
Fall In Love (With You)?" is reportedly going to be the very last track
on Black & Blue.
Fromm has contributed
songs to albums by Nobody's Angel, Josh Keaton, and Don Philip, among others.
Fromm also provided background vocals for Britney Spears debut album and
Joey McIntyre's solo debut. In addition to the Backstreet Boys, Fromm co-wrote
'N Sync's "I Don't Want To Spend One More Christmas Without You," which
will appear on Jive's upcoming Platinum Christmas album, due out November
14. The prolific songwriter also penned the track "Puzzle Of My Heart,"
which was recently recorded by the Irish boy band Westlife for a new album
due out in Europe this November.
