When Dreams get shattered
PROLOGUE
Angie was about
ready to go back on tour with the BACKSTREET boys.
Yet there
was a secret she was keeping from them and was scared to tell them.
Katie and
Nick thought something was wrong but Angie assured them it was just nerves.
However Angie
wishes it were just nerves but it was her heart.
Angie's heart
was getting weaker and the doctor had told her she needed to take it easy.
Would her
dream be shattered forever?
CHAPTER
1
It was June
2001 and Angie was just getting ready to go back on tour with the BACKSTREET
Boys.
Since they
were both signed with Jive, Jive thought it would be a good idea to do
1 huge concert with both acts. Of course everyone loved it, and so did
the fans.
Angie had
just finished packing and was setting her stuff down in the living room
waiting for Nick.
My life is
going so well why did my heart have to start acting up now why, why, why?
Angie asked herself as she sat down on the couch and thought.
She was soon
startled out of her thoughts by Nick
"Hey baby you
ready to go? Angie... Yo Angie, you there?"
"What...oh,
sorry Nick. I was just thinking."
"You okay?"
Nick asked, concern showing in his voice.
"Yeah, I'm
fine...promise. I'm just a little nervous." Angie reassured Nick so he
wouldn't worry. She then got up and kissed him on the lips and they left
to the busses.
"Yo everyone
wazzup?" Katie came in hopping up and down, which immediately caused everyone
to start laughing.
"Hey A.J.,
I think you have finally met your match."
Kevin said
shaking his head at the young couple.
"I know Kev,
and I love it." A.J. said as he kissed Katie.
"Okay guys,
lets get ready. We have a lot of stuff to get done." Denise said as she
came up to the group.
Everyone soon
hopped on the busses and left for North Carolina.
Once everyone
got on the busses they put their stuff in their bunks and went into the
entertainment room. However, Angie had said that she had a little headache
and went to lie down. Angie was realizing that she was getting tired a
lot easier and that scared her since she had always been active. She was
hoping and praying that the new medicine the doctor gave her would soon
kick in. It didn't take her long to fall into a deep sleep.
~Entertainment
room~
"So guys, what
kind of movie do you wanna watch?" Nick asked as he looked threw the collection
of videos and dvd's.
"Um...how about
a comedy or horror flick?" Katie asked as she sat on A.J's lap.
"Okay, lets
watch Scream." Nick said and popped in the video. They had about a 10hr
drive ahead of them and they were all bored out of their minds.
~Bunks~
Angie had woken
up even though she was still really tired. She thought it would be a good
idea to get up so no one would worry. She got up, washed her face, and
grabbed a soda out of the fridge to give her a boost. She then took her
new medicine that the doctor said would help her a lot on the tour.
~Entertainment
room~
"Hey guys."
Angie said as she came in the entertainment room and looked at everybody.
"Hey." Everyone
said and continued to watch the video. There was no place to sit so she
decided to sit on Nicks lap.
"Hey, Babe.
How are you feeling now?" Nick asked as he kissed Angie on the lips.
"Much better.
I think I was just tired and nervous. I feel great now."
"That's good,
Babe." Nick said as he rapped his strong arms around Angie and continued
to watch the film. Angie laid her head on Nicks chest and watched the movie
with everyone else.
